On the afternoon of April 9, 2024, more than 20 students from East China University of Transportation visited the "Heart" of Hengmao International Metropolitan Community under the guidance of their teachers, in order to understand the reasonable application of water treatment technology theory in practical operations, further deepen their understanding and mastery of basic theoretical knowledge, and have a more systematic and detailed understanding of water treatment structures. Hu Jikui, the engineering supervisor of the International Metropolitan Property Service Center, warmly received and patiently provided a detailed introduction to the location of public facilities and equipment, pipeline engineering, and the working principles of water supply and drainage in the community, and answered questions on site.

The Hengmao International Metropolitan Community receives visits from teachers and students of East China Jiaotong University once or twice a year. It is a true "big classroom" base that allows teachers and students to experience the science and engineering of water supply and drainage up close. It is a "grounded" talent training and scientific research base, achieving positive interaction between schools and enterprises, and resource sharing. During this visit, teachers and students from East China Jiaotong University also brought a plaque to honor the Hengmao International Metropolitan Community as the "East China Jiaotong University Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering Practice Teaching Base".
